I am re-organizing my portfolio for the process of building a brand new website. I found these old illustrations from 2009, when I was pregnant with my second son. I didn't know if it was a boy or a girl, the only thing I knew is that the little person kicked like crazy! So I did this little series as an homage, trying to guess what kind of activity he or she was doing in there!
Print quality is top notch as everything made by Chronicle Books! Can't wait for these books release, they are gorgeous! I could just drop dead happy right now.
...will help the little ones to count and learn the alphabet as easy as ABCD-dinosaur! I illustrated these fun board books last year for another DREAM of a client....Keep tuned....
The Girllustrators is an all female illustration group in Austin, TX. They asked me a couple of questions a few months ago about how I use technology in my illustration work. The interview came out yesterday and I am so honored to be in company of such amazing illustrators like Melinda Beck, David Kirk, Stephen Savage... Star struck!
Nothing better than start the year working! I'm illustrating a series of 4 books for Chronicle Books, one of my favorite publishers and dream client. The first two will be out December 2012, I've been working all holiday on final art for the first two! Meanwhile... countdown for the Goodnight Safari launch, check out a sneak peek video here:
